Message from the PVLL President

Hello PVLL Families,

The City of Chula Vista’s Park & Recreation department sent out the following statement to District 42. “On February 19, the State of California released updated guidelines regarding return to competition for youth and adult sports. The update outlined play in less restrictive tiers for outdoor high-contact and moderate-contact sports. Specifically, competitive sports could be played in the purple or red tier with an adjusted case rate equal to or less than 14 per 100,000. As of today, the County of San Diego reported a case rate of 10.8 per 100,000. At this time, all outdoor sports organizations may resume competitions, scrimmages, and games.”

This is great news for Park View Little League to start moving forward with competitive play. Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 10. Below are important dates for finishing the payment portion of the registration process online. Payment will be required prior to play.

Early bird registration will begin March 7, 2021, at $185.
March 22, 2021, registration will increase to $220.
April 9, 2021, will be the last day to make the registration payment. If payment has not been received by April 9, the participant will be ineligible to play.

This year Park View wanted to get the families involved with the option to purchase 2021 Family Sponsorship pennants. Pennants will be displayed on the fields, and at the end of the season, families will be able to keep the pennant as a keepsake. Pennants are $50, and you will be able to add them to your cart when finishing the registration payment.
